You might have heard of Slow Food - the reaction to bland, soulless ‘fast food’. Since Slow Food launched three decades ago it’s been joined, slowly, by a whole movement of Slow - from slow journalism, to slow sex, to slow cities.
Carl Honore is a world ambassador for the Slow Movement and an award winning journalist whose TED talk has been viewed nearly two million times. He's published In Praise Of Slow and recently The Slow Fix.

As Carl explains though, the slow life isn't about doing things at a snail's pace: sometimes speed is great. Instead it's about knowing the right speed to do things at, and it's been described leading to a life that's ‘healthier, happier and less stressful’.
