An elegant antidote to unintentional razor grab.

Matt here, one of the founders of Thomas Clipper with a simple trick that my brother Dan taught me: the Dan Brown Famous Base Plate Flip.

If you travel often, you'll probably be aware of the fear of unintentional razor grab - digging around in your bag for a toothbrush and coming upon a razor instead.

All you need to do is flip the base plate upside down, tighten the razor and Bob's your uncle - a razor that’s no good at shaving, but is great at traveling.

Of course, the razor will gradually come undone and this trick only works if it’s nice and tight. But if it means less likelihood of an unanticipated finger shave, then we’re all for it.
